The Sports Drive: U.S. Advance to World Cup Final

Marquette, MIJuly 3, 2019 – The U.S. Women’s National Team advanced to their 3rd straight World Cup Final on Tuesday with a 2-1 win over England. The win was highlighted by a Alyssa Naeher save in the 84′ on an England penalty kick to preserve the 2-1 score. Luke and Mark discuss where the save ranks on greatest plays in U.S. Soccer history.

Alumni softball tournaments are in full swing around the area for the 4th of July week. Gwinn wraps up a very successful tournament Wednesday night while Ishpeming and Westwood tournaments are just starting up, with Negaunee’s beginning on Friday.
