Marquette, MI – June 19, 2019 – Tyler Young was in once again filling in for Mark Evans while he’s away in Iceland. With Luke and Tyler in studio, you never know what topic will dominate the day. Today’s topic, seemingly out of nowhere was – in basketball, which basket is considered yours. And according to the NBA rule book; unlike hockey, football, soccer, or seemingly any other team sport, your basket is the one that your team is attempting to score in.
Scott Syrjala, best known as the Westwood High School varsity football coach, is adding a new title. In addition to varsity football and varsity track, Syrjala has been hired as the school’s varsity boys basketball coach on Wednesday.
