Marquette, MI – January 30, 2019 – The Marquette Redmen hockey team are currently in the midst of a 12-game win streak. The Redmen have posted 5 straight shutouts. They are red hot. Head coach Doug Garrow joined the Sports Drive to talk about the win streak and what’s ahead.
Winter can be tough in the Upper Peninsula, especially on local high school winter sports teams. Ben Olsen’s Gwinn Modeltowners have had their last 3 games cancelled, after tonight’s scheduled game vs Ishpeming was moved to Friday due to weather. Olsen joined the Sports Drive today to talk about the challenges this long unplanned break presents.
