Marquette, MI – January 24, 2019 – The Northern Michigan and Marquette Senior High School hockey teams are having very successful seasons, and get most of the local attention. But another local team, the Marquette Mutineers, are having a very successful season of their own. Joey Enright of the Mutineers joined the Sports Drive today to talk about the Mutineers season and the outdoor scrimmage against the Marquette Redettes at Lions Field happening on Sunday.
It his a huge weekend at the Berry Events Center. The WCHA 3rd place Wildcats hockey team is hosting the conference leading Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks to town. In addition, one of the best rivalries in all of the state will meet in basketball Saturday. The Northern Michigan Men’s and Women’s basketball teams are hosting Michigan Tech on Saturday. Luke and Mark break it all down.
