Marquette, MI – October 24, 2018 – The Gwinn Modeltowners are in the MHSAA Football Playoffs for the 2nd time in 3 years. The Modeltowners picked up their 6th win in Week 9 in a 20-16 victory over the Munising Mustangs. Head Coach Dion Brown joined the Sports Drive to talk about his season and what it will take for the Modeltowners to upset Ishpeming Friday night.
Dave L’Huillier’s Marquette Redmen team went into Menominee on Friday night with a chance to do something no Marquette Redmen team has done sine 1976: win an outright Great Northern Conference title. The Redmen fell short, but still a successful season that accumulated in a Co-GNC Title. Coach L’Huillier joined the Sports Drive to recap the season and look to the future.
