Marquette, MI – September 10, 2018 – The Marquette Senior High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Coach Kyle Detmers stopped by the Sports Drive today to talk his “Harriers”…or runners.
The MSHS Girls CC team is off to a great start with wins in each of their first 3 meets. The team is returning 6 out of 7 runners off last year’s U.P. Championship team. On the boys side, it is the opposite story in terms of returners. Having lost a majority of the runners from last year’s team, the Boys squad is looking to progress through the season. They have finished 2nd, 3rd, and 2nd in their first three meets, respectively.
Luke and Mark recapped a big football weekend which saw Northern Michigan get their first win of the season, some great high school games, and Aaron Rodgers having his Willis Reed moment.
