Marquette, MI – August 17, 2018 – High School Football begins exactly one week from today. But many scrimmages took place around the Upper Peninsula today; Luke and Mark were at 2 of them.
Mark took a day trip down to Escanaba to watch the Miners take on the Eskymos in a scrimmage. Mark had thoughts on both the Eskymos and the Miners. But one thing to note about the Miners is how much more ready they look compared to this time last year.
Luke was over at Marquette to watch the Redmen take on the Calumet Copper Kings in scrimmage action. Marquette was without it’s arguably two best players in Ethan Martysz and Drew Gale, but according to Luke still looked every bit the part of a good football team they’re expected to be. Luke especially gave praise to senior quarterback Brendan Kaski, and senior receiver Adam Jenshak.
