Marquette, MI – 8/31/17 – That time of the year is back as High School sports are in full swing. This Friday will be the first football game at home for Marquette Senior High School as they welcome in the Traverse City Central Trojans.
We had a chance to catch up with whats going on around the school with new Athletic Director Alex Tiseo. Many additions have been made to the school such as a new track, gym and signage throughout the facility. Tiseo talked about how it will benefit the school moving forward.
The Redmen played all but one home game last year in the Superior Dome, this year they finally get to open up the season on their own field. Friday they will kick off their home opener against Traverse City Central, a team that went 9-2 last year and defeated the Redmen 45-20 in week two.
