Marquette, MI – The Detroit Pistons are coming off the all-star break on the day of the Trade Deadline. The Charlotte Hornets will be at the Palace of Auburn Hills tonight to look to improve their record and bump ahead of the Detroit Pistons in the standings. A lot of trade rumors surround Detroit today as it seems many teams are looking to make a trade to acquire some of their young talent. The Pistons and Hornets square off at 7:30 pm and the deadline is at 3 pm.
The Michigan Wolverines improved their chances of making it into the NCAA Tournament that begins in March with a big win over Rutgers on Wednesday night. D.J. Wilson got 10 points and 11 rebounds in the Wolverines 68-64 victory over one of their Big Ten opponents. The Wolverines will now host the Purdue Boilermakers, with this win it improves their road record, winning this game greatly helped their case for March.
