Marquette, MI – The New England Patriots entered the third quarter down 28-3, the biggest deficit in Superbowl history. New England quarterback Tom Brady led on of the greatest comeback in sports history and led the Patriots to their 5th Superbowl victory in franchise history. Brady finished with 466 yards on 43 of 62 passing attempts and two touch downs. Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Brady became the first coach, quarterback duel to win 25 postseason games and five Superbowl’s, Tom Brady also won the MVP for a record fourth time.
The Detroit Pistons take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The Pistons are 23-28 on the season coming off of home wins against the Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Pelicans. The 76ers are currently on a three game losing streak. The last time these two met Philadelphia came out on top 97-79 for just their fifth win of the season. Tip-off will be at 7:30 tonight as the Pistons look to enhance their playoff chances.
Marquette Mutineers Bryce Burge stopped in this morning to talk about his hockey team and their big win this past weekend over the Depere Deacons 8-3. The Mutineers were carried by Dallas McGlaughlin who had 2 goals and 2 assists. The Mutineers are riding a three game win streak and will try to continue the streak this weekend when they take on DePere Deacons in DePere.
