
Marquette, MI – The Detroit Pistons visited Golden State on Thursday night taking on the Warriors. The Warriors are the NBA’s best team and proved it with a 20 point victory over the struggling Pistons 127-107. The Warriors were led by Kevin Durant who dropped 25 points followed closely by Steph Curry who added 24. Draymond Green also dished out 13 assists for his fifth game in his last eight. The Pistons got help from Marcus Morris who had 21 points and Tobias Harris added 18. The Pistons now move on to play their fourth game in the five game west coast road trip, tonight when they take on the Utah Jazz.
The Detroit Red Wings were in the lone star state Thursday night to take on the Dallas Stars. The Red Wings once again came up short losing the game 5-2. Stars Antti Niemi finished with 31 saves while John Klingberg and Stephen Johns added goals for the Stars to go up 4-2, a late goal in the third made it 5-2. The Red Wings completed a seven game road trip finishing 2-3-2. The Wings play on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Green Bay Packers look to move on in the playoffs when they take on the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday at 4:40 pm in Dallas. The Packers have yet to decide weather Jordy Nelson will play. The Dallas Cowboys come into the game with the two hottest rookies in the game with Ezekiel Elliot and Dak Prescott. The Packers will look to continue the ride with Aaron Rodgers manning the ship.
