Marquette, MI – The Green Bay Packers started out slow but Aaron Rodgers led the way as the Packers defeated the New York Giants 38-13 at Lambeau Field on Sunday night. Packers Aaron Rodgers was 25 of 40 for 362 yards and four touchdowns. Randall Cobb led the way in receiving with five receptions for 116 yards. Eli Manning and the Giants struggled against the Green Bay defense as Manning was held to just 23 of 44 with just 299 yards passing. The Packers now move on to play the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday in Dallas.
The Detroit Pistons finally picked up a much needed win against the Portland Trail Blazers winning the game 125-124 in the second overtime. Pistons guard Reggie Jackson led the way with 31 points and Andre Drummond chipped in with 28 points and 14 rebounds. The Trail Blazers were led by CJ McCollum who had 35 points. The Pistons continue their west coast swing as they head to Sacramento for a match-up on Tuesday night.
Marquette Mutineer Joey Enright stopped by this morning to talk about his past weekend when they took on the Eagle River Falcons. The Mutineers won on Friday night 9-3 and lost Saturday night 9-8. The Mutineers will be back on the ice for a home and home next week against the Portage Lake Pioneers.
