
Marquette, MI – The Michigan Wolverines lost a tough game against Ohio State over the weekend. The game was televised on ABC and became the most watch college football game of the season at just over 17 million viewers. Michigan lost in double overtime 30-27. Ohio State converted on a fourth and one and the very next play Curtis Samuel ran the ball in to pick up a huge victory for the Buckeyes.
The Red Wings went 2-1 on the Thanksgiving break, winning against the New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres and losing to the Montreal Canadians. The Red Wings will be without goaltender Jimmy Howard for up to a week and a half with a groin injury. The Red Wings face off tomorrow night against the Dallas Stars.
The Pistons went 2-1 over Thanksgiving break beating the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers while losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Pistons have struggled winning on the road this season and tomorrow night head to Charlotte to take on the Hornets.
The Lions picked up a huge win on Thanksgiving day beating the Minnesota Vikings 16-13 in a last second field goal from Matt Prater. The Lions have won every game this season in the fourth quarter. It is Detroit’s fifth win in their past six games. The Lions now take sole control of the NFC North with the victory.
The Green Bay Packers will be away tonight against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Packers have lost four straight away games and look to break that streak tonight when some players are coming back off of injuries. The Packers are 4-6 on the season and tonight is their biggest game of the year, to stay alive in the NFC North a win must come tonight.
