Marquette, MI – Jacoby Jones showed up for the Tigers for a second straight day. The Tigers 3-2 victory Wednesday afternoon was more than exciting. On Monday the Tigers pulled up speedy prospect Jacoby Jones and it has been proven that it was the right move. Jones has gone 2-4 in both games since being called up with key hits at key moments. Justin Verlander pitched a great game and is now the MLB leader in WHIP, OPS and many other pitching categories that could possibly land him a Cy Young. Tigers are off today but head to Kansas City for a three game series that begins at 8:10pm Friday night.

Mark Stonerock was in the house on Thursday morning talking UP Health Systems and how important it is to be there for student athletes. Mark has dedicated a lot of time to Marquette sports and is a key part to the athletic program. Marquette was awarded as a Safe Sport School due to the job and the excellence of Mark Stonerock.
