NHL – The Detroit Red Wings Lose

Daniel Paille scored twice as the Bruins beat the Detroit Red Wings 5-3 in Boston yesterday afternoon.

Gustav Nyquist, Luke Glendening and Marek Zidlicky had the goals for Detroit, who has lost their last two.

Jonas Gustavsson allowed four goals on 23 shots through two periods before being lifted for Jimmy Howard, who made six saves the rest of the way.

The Wings host the Edmonton Oilers tonight. Game time at the Joe Louis Arena is 7:30 p.m.
