NHL – The Detroit Red Wings Beat The Dallas Stars

Darren Helm scored twice to power the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars from the Joe Louis Arena last night.

Stephen Weiss and Pavel Datsyuk also scored in a three-goal first period for Detroit, who has won five of six.

Jimmy Howard had 22 saves for the win.

Tyler Seguin notched his 19th goal of the year for Dallas, who has lost four straight.

Jussi Rynnas made 24 saves in the loss.

The Wings are back in action Saturday when they travel to New York to take on the Rangers.
