MLB – The Detroit Tigers Lose Two

The Detroit Tigers lost both of their split-squad games yesterday as they got clipped by the Phillies 6-5 in Lakeland, and fell to the Astros 4-3 in Kissimmee.

Justin Verlander surrendered one hit while striking out one in three innings against Philadelphia and Bruce Rondon gave up one hit in one inning in his first appearance of the spring.

Drew VerHagen was tagged for one run on three hits in three innings on the road against the Astros.
Detroit is on the road today against the Atlanta Braves.

Game time is 1:05 p.m.
