College Football – Notre Dame Pulls Off A Big Upset In The Music City Bowl

Notre Dame pulled off a big upset as bowl season continued yesterday.

Kyle Brindza’s 32-yard field goal as time expired gave the Irish a 31-28 win over 23rd-ranked LSU in the Music City Bowl.

In his first college start, quarterback Malik Zaire threw a touchdown pass and ran in for another score in the victory.

Meanwhile, Nick Chubb rushed for a whopping 266 yards and two touchdowns to lead 13th-ranked Georgia to a 37-14 win over number-21 Louisville in the Belk Bowl.

Stanford closed out Tuesday’s action with a 45-21 mauling of Maryland in the Foster Farms Bowl.
Three big bowl games are on tap today.

First, ninth-ranked Ole Miss will take on sixth-ranked TCU in the Peach Bowl at 12:30 p.m. Eastern.

At 4:00 Eastern, 10th-ranked Arizona will battle 20th-ranked Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl.

In the nightcap, seventh-ranked Mississippi State will square off with 12th-ranked Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl.
