The NCAA Tournament regional semifinals begin today.

In the Midwest Region, top-seeded Kentucky will attempt to reach 37-0 when they meet No. 5 seed West Virginia.

The Wildcats, who are looking to become the first team to finish a season undefeated since Indiana in 1976, will attempt to solve the Mountaineers’ vaunted full-court press.

WVU forced 40 total turnovers in their tourney wins over Buffalo and Maryland.

It is third-seeded Notre Dame and No. 7 seed Wichita State in the other Midwest Region semifinal.

The two winners will square off Saturday for a spot in the Final Four.

Top-seeded Wisconsin and fourth-seeded North Carolina kickoff the West Region semifinals.

Defending Big Ten Player of the Year and 7-foot Frank Kaminsky will be a daunting task for the Tar Heels.

Second-seeded Arizona and No. 6 seed Xavier do battle in the other Sweet 16 matchup.

The two victors face off Saturday in the Elite Eight.
