College Basketball – MSU Beats Michigan In Overtime

The Michigan State Spartans shut out the Michigan Wolverines 10-to-0 in overtime to win 76-66 in East Lansing yesterday afternoon.

Denzel Valentine had 25 points for MSU, who improved to 15-and-7 and 6-and-3 in the Big Ten.

The Wolverines who are 13-9, 6-4 Big Ten pushed Michigan State throughout, but the Spartans finally put Michigan away in the extra session.

Branden Dawson had 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Bryn Forbes and Matt Costello scored 10 points each for Michigan State.

Spike Albrecht and Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman scored 18 points each for Michigan, who was without injured guards Caris LeVert and Derrick Walton.
