College Basketball – Michigan and Michigan State Both Lose Over The Weekend

The Michigan Wolverines couldn’t get past the Indiana Hoosiers yesterday afternoon, falling 70-67 at Assembly Hall.
The Wolverines missed a potential game-tying shot just before the final buzzer.

Zak Irvin led the Wolverines with 23 points, and Ricky Doyle contributed 15 as the Wolverines dropped their third-straight game.

Michigan is 13-and-11 on the year, and 6-and-6 in the Big-Ten.

They visit Illinois on Thursday.
The Michigan State Spartans are on the road tomorrow, visiting Big-Ten foe Northwestern at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m.

The Spartans fell to Illinois 59-54 on Saturday.

They are 6-and-4 in the Big-Ten this season, and 15-and-8 overall.

Northwestern is 1-and-9 and 10-and-13.

Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m.
