Redettes Basketball and Redmen Hockey

Marquette, MI – 1/10/18 – The Marquette Redettes basketball team had to regroup and prepare after losing to Negaunee Monday night with a quick turnaround game with the Escanaba Eskyos on Tuesday night. The Redettes came out with a 61-50 victory to stay unbeaten in the Great Northern Conference and move to 9-1 on the season. The Redettes were led by Mo Miller who had 18 points. Escanaba was led by Mykenzie Monkevich who added 14.
Marquette Senior High School head hockey coach Doug Garrow stopped in this morning to talk about his teams upcoming showcase this weekend in Traverse City. The Redmen are currently 6-6 on the season and ranked #9 in the Division 2 polls. The will take on Grand Rapids Christian on Friday at 3:45 pm and Bay Reps on Saturday at noon.
