Mix In A Netflix Night Once In A While

Question is, why didn’t they start Manziel? How little must Pettine think of Manziel and/or his prepation if he continues to run Hoyer out there and won’t pull him once Hoyer starts to Hoy? Well, Manziel was seen courtside at a Cavs game Tuesday, and while no one in the organization is saying it publicly, speculation is, it’s further evidence that Manziel is not fully committed… and you can’t help but wonder if it may have had something to do with Hoyer getting the nod yesterday.

Anyone else, and no one gives it a second thought. But Manziel doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt, because his commitment has been questioned. I’m not saying he doesn’t have the right to go to the game. Nor am I saying it sends a terrible message by going. But it would send a much better message by not going. Especially since it was the night before coach Mike Pettine was going to announce Sunday’s starter.

Pettine was probably still working in his office about 11:15pm, flips on the TV, and sees Manziel courtside on all the highlight shows and thinks to himself, freaking kid. And then calls Hoyer and says, we’re sticking with you, buddy. Actually, he didn’t need to call Hoyer. Hoyer was probably down the hall in the dark room.

Hey John, they want to pick you, why won’t you let them?? I know, I know, you’re just going to keep on living your life. Fine. Just mix in a Netflix night once in a while.
