Brett Hundley: ‘that’s probably, my last one against SC’

UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley talked about life in Los Angeles after beating crosstown rival USC for the third consecutive season.

“You can walk around town with your chest held high,” Hundley told The Jim Rome Show. “It’s one of the biggest rivalries in the country, one of the oldest, most traditional and just to know we did it 3 times back to back [to back], you can’t say more than that.”

The redshirt junior says there’s a sense of pride for him and the school knowing he’s never lost to USC, a rivalry historically favoring the Trojans.

“It’s amazing to go undefeated versus them and for surely to be one of the few that has been able to do that,” said Hundley. “To be able to change the tide, when we all came in and being able to change the tide and go 3-0 these last three years is huge for not only myself but the program.”

Hundley hinted that was probably his last USC game and he is probably headed to the NFL after the season.

“I think the chance is really high,” Hundley said of leaving UCLA early. “The conversation keeps coming up, I got my degree, I’ve done everything I wanted to do here, I’ve left something that’s really truly great and it felt good and that’s probably, my last one against SC.”
